The Hygienist

Hello! Just a bit about me.

I am a dedicated and passionate Registered Dental Hygienist with over 20 years of experience in the dental field. I was born and raised in the beautiful Okanagan and I am glad to be back after practicing my trade all over western Canada. My journey began with four years as a Certified Dental Assistant after completing my dental assisting education at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology  (SAIT) in Calgary AB. I went on to earn my Dental Hygiene Diploma from the Canadian College of Dental Health in Burlington ON and later obtained my Local Anesthetic Certification through the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver . With 16 years of clinical experience as a dental hygienist, I bring a deep understanding of oral health and a genuine love for helping people feel comfortable, respected, and well cared for.

I am passionate about providing personalized, individualized dental hygiene care in a calm, gentle, and trusting environment. I believe every patient deserves to feel safe, understood, and supported, and I take pride in creating stress-free, fear-free visits tailored to each person’s unique needs. I warmly welcome patients of all ages and backgrounds, including children, seniors, individuals with dental anxiety, autism, disabilities, or special healthcare needs. The clinic is thoughtfully located on a serene acreage surrounded by orchards and a nonprofit horse rescue, offering a quiet, peaceful setting that reflects my commitment to compassionate, whole-person care. My goal is simple: to provide the highest quality dental hygiene care while helping every patient feel at ease and confident in their smile.
